Olympus OM Lens Usability List for Sigma SD14.

These lists are expected to grow as the user base grows and cooperation and feedback increases.

    GENERAL NOTES:
    .
☛OLYMPUS OM lenses are Optically well designed and some of its lenses have no equal . However the OM Mount design, unlike all other lens manufacturers, place the Locking mechanism ON THE LENS ITSELF, rather than on the camera mount, becoming subject to wear and noticeable differences in retention across different lenses due to their different conditions of wear.

☛Some older OM lens versions might not mount due to slight differerences of production over the years, compared to the contemporary mount. Fixable with slight grinding or filing of either lens Bayonet or camera mount. There might be a production point were no trimming is necessary, so please take this list as a starting point and not as a base for making purchase decisions.

☛Our Mount Replacement kits are designed for original Olympus OM MANUAL lenses only . Other lenses such as modern Olympus Digital lenses or other manufacturer brands might mount but, will not work propperly since the mount was designed for OLYMPUS OM, Manual lenses, only . Same is true for third party "ADAPTALL" or similar adapters that are outside of our design and may or may not work.

☛Our Mount Replacement kits have provision for some limited user adjustment to compensate for lens wear. Use a small, thin ,flat screw driver, to open up the slits of the mount to increase Gripping Pressure to reduce lens play . A little bit goes a long way. .

21 21mm as expected has that shade / flange hitting the hot mirror remove the in body filter and it works

If you remove the internal filter you can use an external CC1 or BP2 color correction filter is for cameras which have the internal IR blocking filter (ICF) removed. Use this filter when taking normal pictures. This are IR Blocking - Visible Light Pass filter from
