Sizing & Product Specifications
Academic gowns are sized primarily by total height from head to toe with your shoes on, rather than chest or waist size. If you are between height brackets, we recommend choosing the taller size for adequate sleeve length and proper floor clearance (typically 8 to 10 inches off the floor).
In accordance with the American Intercollegiate Costume Code, the velvet edge color signifies your specific field of study (e.g., White for Arts & Letters, Gold for Science, Dark Blue for Philosophy/Ph.D., Purple for Law, Light Blue for Education). The satin lining colors reflect the official colors of the conferring college or university.
Shipping & Order Fulfillment
All orders ship 100% free of charge within the United States. There is no minimum order threshold and no promotional code needed.
Orders are prepared and handed to carriers within 1 to 2 business days (order cut-off 12:00 PM CST). Transit via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground takes 3 to 7 business days, resulting in a total estimated delivery window of 4 to 9 business days. Tracking numbers are emailed immediately upon shipment.
At this time, SIGMA CUM LAUDE LLC fulfills orders exclusively within the United States. We do not currently ship internationally.
Returns, Refunds & Billing
We offer a 30-day return window from the date your package is delivered. Garments must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging. We charge $0.00 restocking fees. For defective or incorrect items, we provide a prepaid return label at no cost.
Once your return package arrives at our Missouri facility and is inspected, refunds are credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
